Future Plans

The most prominent long term plan is the opening of a new center.  This center is intended to operate its services and programs primarily in the official Canadian languages of English and French.  A number of services are intended to be offered:

• Regular programs in English and French
• An Islamic library with books in English and French on a variety of Islamic topics
• Production of original educational materials in English and French on Islamic subjects in a variety of formats, including potentially web-based, multimedia, pamphlets, posters, and exhibitions
• Resource packages and support services for new converts to Islam
• A small school offering classes on a variety of subjects, including Arabic language, Qu'ran, Basics of Islamic belief and practice, basics of Islamic laws, Islamic ethics and morality, Islamic history, special topics such as Islamic perspectives on economics, political science, and sociology, Islamic spirituality, tasawwaf and i'rfan, etc.
